I have read all of MJ books and I find that her ability to tell a story that makes you care about a character even a flawed one is a gift. Momma Joes story is beautiful and real. As women age they have those conversations in their head, about how a partner sees them. I am glad that a book can still make me smile even when I'm done. This is that kid of book. I recommend you read all the series so you can enjoy all the dynamics in the story, it's not necessary but it will be fun.

I have loved everything about this entire series - this novella is no exception. I adore Momma Joe and am so glad she got a happy ever after as well. Thomas, too. They are both strong, loving characters. This just makes me want more from MJ Fields...makes me wish the series could go on & on. Fantastic job!!
I have read every book in this incredible series and always loved Momma Joe and I'm so happy I finally got to read about Josaphina the love she has for her family all of them is so incredible. I always thought who could deserve her enough to love again wow what a surprise that was and a happy one. Congratulations to my favorite couple ever Jase and Carly!!!!
This novella is welcome, a surprise and eye opening when it comes to Momma Joe. From the boys books you know she is not old. From the books we know she was 18 when she met and married Johnathan and then had Cyrus. But because of how she carries herself and that she is strong, wise and loving. This novella gives me a look at Momma Joe I didn't know I wanted until I had it.
