This is the best "0" number in history of comics, period. It gives not rest to the reader and simultaneous events are having at the same time at planetary scale and the essence of the world we gave for granted has been altered in a subtle way and the dreamer doesn't know which is the dream and which reality: a Steve Rogers that always was Hydra or the one we knew from all time? This argumental line was a risky bet, it was quite difficult to resolve and probably it overcome the writer in the following numbers (from the number two I believe) but this beginning is perfect.Product details

This sets the scene for "Secret Empire" and drops the reader right into the thick of the action. Extremely well written and made to suck in the reader, the end just makes you want to run to issue #1. The art is terrific. Marvel has been building toward this event for quite some time and brought together a great team. Any fan of comic books or the Marvel films will enjoy this issue.
So, it's finally finished. In a word it is underwhelming, not the MCU changing event that was promised. After reading 10 I was really disappointed and dissatisfied. Made me wonder why they even did it except to sell books, not to make a good story and build readership. Cashing in is what they did.
Pros-
-Now that I've finished them all. None.
-Expectations?! They hyped this thing up, and most assuredly had expectations within Marvel as a company, to be a game changer both story wise and financially.
-starts out great but then the sudden realization that you need good writing to have a good story sets in.
Cons-
-Writing. Nick Spencer and his overly narrating of every key scene is horrible.
-Plot. Everyone knows how this things gonna end going into it. But does it have to be exactly that way and on rails to get there?
-Art. Not necessarily the artists but the way in which they seemingly insert the different art styles randomly. Some of the art is great. Most is lazy and yawn inspiring. Meh.
Great storyline. . . . . the comic app makes it even better! ! !
I would highly recommend it to comic fans.
5 Stars for All The Free Funny it caused. 4 Stars for the actual content. Like all Great Marvel World Changing Events, a good start. Recommend trades for those who want to wait.
